Fabrizio Di Pietrantonio was born in Livorno in 1964 and attended the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence.
At a later date,he became involved in violin making, and in 1990 became a pupil of Roberto Ignesti, with whom he recovered a substantial part of the models, moulds and tools belonging to the Igino Sderci laboratory.

Respecting the work of the old masters, and using their original moulds, Fabrizio Di Pietrantonio creates various models: Stradivari, Guarneri, Guadagnini, Balestrieri, Montagnana, Gofriller and many other.
Tha varnish is alcohol based according an original recipe handed down by Bisiach.
Thanks to his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence Fabrizio Di Pietrantonio can do paints and gold decorations.
Recently he made a copy of the Andrea Amati quartet, named Carlo IX, which has been shown in Cremona with the original one.
On request he can make personalized decorations.
