OLE BULLPosted on Wed, Nov 01, 2017
loosely inspired by the violin belonging to the great violinist Ole Bull, this instrument was born as a tribute to the great masters and artists of the Italian Renaissance. The technique used for the sculptures and decorations faithfully reflects that used in the 16th century.
The purflings are five-wire in maple and black-stained walnut.
The inlay on the bottom and on the fingerboard have been executed completely freehand.
